Cornwall · October to May
Off-season rentals, built for longer stays.
Too many beautiful properties sit empty in Cornwall over winter. Fallow finds them guests who want to stay a while — we handle the booking, the payment, and everything in between.

The idea
Cornwall empties in October. It shouldn’t.
Thousands of Cornish properties make their living in twelve busy summer weeks, then sit empty until Easter — no income, no one keeping an eye on the place, no one keeping it warm.
At the same time, there are people looking for somewhere to spend a month or two — to slow down, work remotely, explore somewhere properly, or simply live somewhere different for a season. What they need isn't a week's holiday cottage. It's somewhere set up to be lived in — proper terms, a fair monthly price, and an owner who understands they're not just passing through.
Fallow connects the two.
We find great properties in places worth staying, make sure they’re genuine, and offer them at realistic monthly prices — built for longer stays, not inflated nightly rates designed around August. In return, owners get income through the quiet months and a property that's looked after, not left empty. We handle the enquiry, the introduction, and the booking itself, so both sides can just get on with it.
A different way to experience a place — for a little longer.
Working remotely
A desk, fast broadband and a coast path at the end of the day. Stay through a whole winter project rather than shifting hotels every fortnight.
Newly retired
Try a place properly before you commit to it. Three months in one village tells you more than a decade of holidays there.
Mid-house-move
Chains break and completions slip. A furnished home with bills included for as long as it takes, without signing a year's tenancy.

How an enquiry works
- One. Browse the stays and send an enquiry on anything that fits — including any questions you have for the owner.
- Two. The owner reviews your enquiry and pre-approves the booking, usually within two working days, along with any details you'll need — payment terms, deposit, house rules.
- Three. Your booking is confirmed once your deposit is taken by Fallow.
- Four. Once you've confirmed the property is as described, we release the funds to the owner.
