For owners

The off-season doesn’t have to mean empty.

Fallow fills your property with considered long stays over the off-season — four weeks or more per booking, as many as suit your calendar. You control the dates, price and house rules. We handle the introductions, the enquiries and the payment.

Why owners list with us

Income from months you'd otherwise write off

Empty houses cost money and earn nothing. Considered long stays turn your quietest months into revenue, without touching how you run the place the rest of the year.

Less changeovers means lower costs

Cleaning, laundry, turnover admin — every changeover has a cost, and a winter of short lets means paying it over and over. A single stay of four weeks or more cuts that down to a handful across the whole season, not dozens.

Your calendar stays yours

We read your existing iCal feed, so booked dates grey out automatically on Fallow. No double-booking, no second calendar to maintain.

Guests who settle in, not check in

Remote workers, newly retired couples, families mid-move. They're looking for somewhere to live for a while, not somewhere to holiday — which means they treat it accordingly.

A warm, aired house

Occupied houses cost less to run and suffer less damp than shuttered ones. Small problems get noticed in November, not at Easter.

Your terms, your rules

Set house rules and deposit requirements specific to a longer stay. You decide what's reasonable for four weeks or more — not a generic short-let policy.

You have the final say on every booking

We qualify every enquiry before it reaches you, and you can ask for more information directly if you want extra reassurance. Nothing is confirmed without your go-ahead.

Simple, transparent commission

We handle payment collection from the guest, so you're not chasing anyone for money. Fallow takes a 6% commission on the booking value, charged to you, alongside a 6% fee charged to the guest. No listing fees, no charge unless a booking happens.

What happens next

Four simple steps

  1. Step 1

    Tell us about your property

Share a few details about your property. Wherever possible, we'll use information from your existing listing, so there's no need to repeat what you've already provided elsewhere.

  2. Step 2

    Listing preview

We'll use the information you've provided to draft your Fallow Stays listing and send you a private link to review it.

  3. Step 3

    Your approval

Take a look at your listing and let us know if you're happy. Nothing goes live without your approval.

  4. Step 4

    Go live

Once you've approved the listing, we'll publish your property on Fallow Stays.
